We are a voice, an image if you will, of the Gothic Lifestyle. We are not a justification. A Goth does not need to justify their life. We are an expression. A Goth is an outward expression of an inward state of mind.

For some it’s rebelious and others it’s courageous. It can be as subtle as a choice of music or philosophy or as enigmatic as blue spiked hair, pierced anything, tatooed everything, and piles of black-only clothes.

Whatever, whichever, Gothic Silk is here to immortalize it in cyberspace. We’re not interested in politics or religion. What tickles our fancy and whets our whistle is you. Goths and Goth Culture.

We can see the “what” of it all. We would like to hear the “why”. Even if it’s as simple as “why not?” If you are an artist send us a sample of your work only if you are willing to tell us about your work and why you created it. Write to us and tell us what’s on your mind. Why are you a Goth? What is Goth to you and what are you to Goth.
